How to find Spencers

Spencers is on the Essex-Suffolk borders just to the north of the village of Great Yeldham, about half way between Cambridge and Colchester. It is some 60 miles north east of London.

The address is Spencers, Great Yeldham, Essex, CO9 4JG.

From London take the M11 to exit 8a (Stansted Airport), the A120 to Braintree and the A1017 (which connects Braintree and Cambridge) to Great Yeldham. Once you reach Great Yeldham follow the map.

Useful information

Bad weather – The music is performed in a weatherproof marquee. If extreme weather forces us to cancel MM@S 2009 entirely, we will refund all amounts paid for tickets.

Bars & food stalls – Are open throughout MM@S.

Camping – The site is located in Spencers park, some 250 yards from the music marquee. Spaces must be booked in advance. Toilets and running water are provided.

Cars – Free car parking is available some 50 yards from the marquee.

Disabled – Most of the site is readily accessible for wheel chairs. Disabled toilets are provided.

Dogs – Other than guide-dogs, are not admitted.

First aid – A paramedic and a qualified first aid team are on site throughout MM@S.

Marquee – The music is performed in a large weatherproof marquee: free seating and plenty of tables.

Rubbish – Rubbish bins are placed throughout the site. We appreciate their being used for all throw away items.
